SERVICES
Disaster Recovery (DR) Facilities
AGT will provide the Client with continuity of application service provision, in the event of a serious disruption to its operations, by switching some or all of its processing to an alternate site.
AGT will provide for the Client a DR system for each of the application services for which SLA’s are in place. These DR systems will be kept as far as possible synchronized with the live production environments such that in the event of the DR facilities needing to be used, only in-flight transactions at the point of cutover would need to be re-entered into the systems.
To meet the critical business continuity requirements of the Client, AGT DR Service will be maintained for availability on a 24 hours x 6 day basis.
The service is deemed to be available providing all systems are up and data replication from the production environment is running.
The Client, together with AGT will decide at what point Disaster Recovery will be invoked and which systems will run using Disaster Recovery. Normally this will be on an all systems basis and rarely on a selected a systems basis
The service availability achieved will be reported in the monthly service performance statistics.
In the event of the Disaster Recovery procedures being invoked, details on the recovery times will be included on the following month’s service performance statistics.
